Remember this old set up?
And then…it sat in the living room. For almost a year. With just primer on it. Look at me slacking. Finally, I found a mistint test pot at Home Depot for $1. Couldn’t pass it up, so I grabbed it. The small dot on top made it look like a pretty springy green, which is what it looked like with the first coat. The second coat made it a little brown, and then the last coat turned it khaki. So needless to say, there is literally no way for me to accurately photograph the color, but its a great khaki, I promise.
These lovelies showed up with the rest of my new favorite knobs, and I couldn’t wait to get them on. I finally finished attaching them (after a few trips to Home Depot), and they’re pretty fantastic.
Add a beer bottle lamp and it’s like a mini man cave. Ok, not really but it’s probably as close as it will ever get in our house. Oh, and did I mention that this was in the living room? Yeah…living on the edge here.
Please tell me that I’m not the only one who procrastinates like crazy on stupidly easy projects!! Spill!!
