I stumbled upon this house YEARS ago via House of Turquoise, and have loved it ever since. You’ll never believe where it’s located! And yes, I’m going to make you guess the whole way through!
I mean, just look at the outside! It totally screams “coastal retreat,” amiright!? Those shingles are just gorgeous!
The entrance is so airy and light, and how much do you love that beautiful old mirror?
Speaking of entryways, how amazing is the other side of the entry? I am majorly crushing on that chandelier! I love the wall treatment on the staircase, and how sweet is the detail in the balusters at the top?
I’m not usually a fan of houses that have so much white paint on the walls, but I think this family totally made it work with all of the light that is let in and bounced around.
This is to the left of the entry way…and can we please talk about just how gorgeous this whole room is!? The reclaimed brick, the reclaimed wood, that pallet shelving system…I may need a minute. The sweetest part of this whole room? That wall is full of wood from the farm where one of the owners grew up. I love sentimental details like that!
This sitting room is seriously killing it. The piano is placed in a gorgeous nook surrounded by windows, which lends so much airness to this gorgeous room.
This kitchen. Seriously. Guys, I would willingly cook for an army in this kitchen. How beautiful is that island? One of my favorite parts is the open spaces on top of the doorway. Even cooler, their countertop is made out of recycled glass. So. Freaking. Awesome.
Their breakfast nook is just as adorable as the kitchen, and look at the beautiful ceiling!
And now…the master bedroom. This is by far my favorite room in the whole house. Those windows. That fan. The planked ceiling. The yellow barn door (I secretly fantasize about a barn door in my future home). The window seat. So much perfect.
And of course, this bathroom. I’d never think to combine wallpaper with three different patterns of tile. Never in a million years. Also, I’d die for a bathroom the size of my apartment. Just die.
It’s not just tranquility in this house, however. Look at this playroom! How fun is all of that color!?
And this nursery. I’m only slightly obsessed with the blue crib and the planked walls. Only slightly.
Their bathroom is just plain adorable as well. I’d take this one very happily. I’ve always wanted a clawfoot tub, and this bathroom is just so bright and happy. Oh and PS, this tub is ALSO from the farm the owner grew up on! Her parents used it as a salt lick for the cattle. Love that!
I think I’d be pretty happy crafting in this bright, beautiful space! That wallpaper is so quirky and just right for this space!
And this laundry room. Maybe if I had this laundry room, I’d enjoy doing laundry a leeeeetle bit more. Okay, maybe if I had a laundry room, period.
This living room just screams, “Come have a sit-down!” I kinda want to go crash on their couch and watch a movie. Totally normal, right? 🙂
An even cooler part of their house? The basement. Behind those couches, there’s a massive pool table. Like the stuff guy’s fantasies are made of!
My favorite part of the basement, however, is this kitchenette. Just stop it. I’ve always loved yellow kitchens with checkered floors, and I’m drooling over the vintage turquoise appliances.
There are a million more pictures over at House of Turquoise (here, here, here, here, and here)! How much do you love this house? I’d move in today if they’d let me! What was your favorite part?? Dish!
Oh and PS…this house is located in Utah! I’d never guess.
