A few weeks ago, I made this completely adorable Easter Egg Garland.
I loved it.
But the time came after Easter to take it down.
I didn’t want to throw the eggs away just yet because they weren’t cracked and I still loved the colors. So instead, I simply made a third coffee filter flower and tossed them in a square vase that I’d just recently spray painted white.
Enter an old silver tray stage right, and we were in business.
Sidenote: even though after I blew the eggs out I didn’t rinse out the inside, they don’t smell. In fact, they smell a little bit vinegary (from the coloring) if anything.
These babies last.
After a trip to Trader Joe’s, the tissue flowers got switched out for some waxflowers…
Very durable little dudes. I also got some Gerber daisies but those seem to be expiring very quickly. Any tips?
