A little while ago, we drove to Lake Chocorua so I could get some pictures. It was a beautiful day, and the ice was pretty populated even though the lake was nowhere near frozen enough to be fishing on.
The Fireman says that this is how he smiles, but he’s totally lying.
This is how he smiles.
I made pesto last week. This is the setup I used to take the pictures. Ignore the background of the picture, and instead focus on how completely high tech my little studio is.
Last weekend, my nephew had his 3rd birthday party, and he got to sit in this totally rocking chair.
His mama asked me to take pictures (and man, if you’ve ever had to photograph 1-3 year olds in flourescent lighting, you know it was a chore). I took pictures last year, and ironically enough, all of them are almost identical. Same little girl tried to help him open his presents, same green frosted cupcakes.
It was at the Portland Children’s Museum, which, in my professional opinion, IS THE COOLEST MUSEUM EVER. They’ve got a fire truck, lobster boat, Whole Foods Market, farm, gas station, whale, and the above diner…and that’s only the first 2 floors. I loved it. So did he, apparently. He got to play cashier, make a milkshake, and get locked in the refrigerator.
I reorganized my kitchen the other day. But this is what it usually looks like. Just keeping it real.
Whew. Now my noodle doesn’t feel like its going to explode. Excellent thought dump. Now I’m off to see if my car will start after 2 days of not running in negative temperatures.
